(a) The Director of Law shall perform the following duties: attend Council meetings; render legal opinions to Council and all boards, commissions, and employees of the City; prosecute at the City Mayor's Court; attend, when necessary, meetings of any board or commission of the City; review all contracts and agreements to be entered into by the City; and draft resolutions and ordinances. The Director of Law shall be compensated by a salary set by Council for these services.
(b) In addition to the compensation provided in (a) above, the Director of Law shall be reimbursed at an hourly rate for all other legal services rendered, including but not limited to the representation of the City in federal court, the court of common pleas, the municipal court, or any administrative hearings, or hearings before state agencies.
