The Records Commission shall meet every six (6) months or upon call of the chairman, and shall perform the duties set forth by Ohio R.C. 149.39, and in addition thereto shall, when it is deemed advisable by the membership, initiate and promulgate plans for the reproduction of City records, by lawful means, for the purposes of more economical storage and improved safety thereof, and may conduct investigations of the necessity for and the practicability of said plans as well as the promulgation of a records retention schedule.
