The Mayor shall appoint with the consent of Council, a magistrate meeting state law requirements to serve as the judicial officer in Harrison's Mayor/Municipal Court. The magistrate may be removed by the Mayor with the consent of Council. The Mayor, with the exception of those judicial powers conferred to the magistrate, shall have any and all other judicial powers granted to Mayors by the laws of Ohio.
