All water service branches and water service pipes shall be inspected and approved by Utilities Department personnel from the main, including the meter setting, in addition to any other inspection required by plumbing or building codes. Failure to request the required inspections shall be sufficient cause to justify the Utilities Department to refuse water service for the branch. No work shall be covered until approved by Utilities Department personnel.
