For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) "Revenues" means all moneys received from the operation of a taxicab or any moneys received by the City by virtue of the enforcement of the terms of this chapter.
(b) "Taxicab" means any vehicle used to carry passengers for hire but not operating on a fixed route.
(c) "Taxicab driver" means any person operating or driving a taxicab on the streets of the City.
(d) "Taxicab owner" means every corporation, association, joint stock association, person, firm, or partnership, or their lessees, directors, receivers, or trustees, or heirs, executors, administrators, or personal representatives or assigns of any deceased person owning, controlling, operating, or managing any taxicab.
