§ 97.02 PARK PRESERVATION.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to:
   (A)   Mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with or displace or remove any buildings, bridges, tables, benches, fireplaces, railings, pavings or paving materials, water lines or other public utilities or parts or appurtenances therefore, signs, notices or placards, whether temporary or permanent, monuments, stakes, posts, or other boundary markers, or other structures or equipment, facilities or park property or appurtenances whatsoever, either real or personal;
   (B)   Fail to cooperate in maintaining restrooms and washrooms in a clean and sanitary condition;
   (C)   Dig, destroy, mutilate, or remove any soil, rock, sand, stones, animal, mineral, trees, shrubs or plants or other wood or materials, or make any excavation by tool, equipment, blasting or other means or agency;
   (D)   Damage, cut, carve, mark, transplant or remove any plant, or injure the bark, or pick flowers or seed of any tree or plant, dig in or otherwise disturb grass areas, or in any other way injure the natural beauty or usefulness of any area;
   (E)   Construct or erect any building or structure of whatever kind, whether permanent or temporary, or run or string any public service utility into, upon, or across such lands, except on special written permit issued hereunder;
   (F)   Throw, discharge, or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the waters of any fountains, pond, lake, stream or other body of water in or adjacent to any park or any tributary, stream, storm sewer, or drain flowing into such water, any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which will or may result in the pollution of such waters;
   (G)   Take into, carry through, or put into the park, any rubbish, refuse, garbage or other material. Such refuse and rubbish shall be deposited in receptacles so provided. Where receptacles are not provided, all such rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence, and properly disposed of elsewhere;
   (H)   Attach or place any sign, banner, wire, rope or cable, or any other contrivance to any building, sign, tree or other park property by use of nails or staples. These items may be attached with tape or thumbtacks and must be removed before leaving the area;
   (I)   Cause or permit any animal, under a person's custody or control, to enter the park, except a dog restrained by a leash not exceeding six feet in length, except when such animal is part of a park program. Further, the person having custody of the dog while in the park shall be responsible for the removal of any animal solid waste;
   (J)   Bring, use, ride, or drive a horse, pony, mule, cow or any other animal in any part of the park unless the animal is part of a park sponsored program; and/or
   (K)   Damage or alter any wildlife habitat or area within the park except as undertaken by authorized park personnel or their agents as a bona fide wildlife management practice. A violation of any subsection is punishable as a misdemeanor.
