For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEPARTMENT. Harrisburg Public Works Department.
FOOT PATH AND TRAIL. Any path or trail maintained for pedestrians.
PARK. The term park or parks shall be deemed to include all aspects of any park or property owned or controlled by the town.
PEDESTRIAN. A person afoot.
PERMIT. Any written license issued by or under authority of the Department, permitting the performance of a specified act or acts.
PERSON. Any natural person, corporation, company, association, joint stock association, firm or partnership.
REGULATION. Any regulation or ordinance duly adopted by the Town Council and posted as a Harrisburg park regulation.
VEHICLE. Any conveyance (except baby carriages) including motor vehicles, trailers of all types, campers, sleds, sleighs, pushcarts, or vehicles propelled by other than muscular power. Vehicle also includes any horse or horse-drawn conveyance, but excluding nonmotorized bicycles or tricycles.
