(A) The purpose of this chapter is to encourage alarm users and alarm businesses to maintain the operational reliability and properly use alarm systems and to reduce or eliminate false alarm dispatch requests.
(B) This chapter governs users of systems intended to summon law enforcement, Fire Department or emergency medical services response, requires permits, establishes fees, provides for penalties for violations, establishes a system of administration, and sets conditions for suspension or loss of permits.
