As determined by the Chief of the Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau or Fire Department Emergency Coordinator, and deemed essential for public safety in a place of assembly or any other place where people congregate, because of the nature of the performance, exhibition, display, contest or activity, the sponsor or promoter shall provide one or more fire watch personnel. A violation of this section is punishable as a misdemeanor.
