§ 154.17 OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   General requirements.
      (1)   When applying for a building permit in all districts for a new structure, the enlarging of a structure or a new or enlarged use of a parcel of land, the application shall be accompanied by a site plan drawn to scale and dimensioned indicating the location of off-street parking and loading spaces in compliance with the following requirements.
      (2)   Individual parking spaces shall be no smaller than ten feet by 20 feet.

Banks, Offices and/or Public Office Buildings
At least four parking spaces for each 100 square feet of gross floor area
Undertaking Establishments
At least five parking spaces for each chapel or parlor, plus one parking space for each funeral vehicle maintained on the premises; aisle space shall also be provided off the street for making up a funeral procession
Furniture Store Wholesale Auto Sales, Repair Shops
At least three spaces for each 1,000 square feet of gross floor area; open sales lots shall provide 1-1/2 parking spaces for each employee on maximum shift, but not less than three spaces
Warehouse, Storage, Handling of Bulk Goods
At least one space for each two employees on maximum shift, or one for each 2,000 square feet of gross floor area, whichever is the larger
 
   (C)   Commercial parking on residential lots. The lot or lots in a residential zone which are immediately adjacent to a nonresidential use and a major or through street may be used for a parking lot accessory to a commercial or industrial use, upon the approval and the issuance of a permit therefor by the City Council.
