A. All plumbers shall, prior to registering with the city and on each renewal, furnish a bond in the principal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or as set by the city council, in favor of the city, as a guarantee and condition that:
1. The installation of plumbing shall be in accordance with the requirements of this code.
2. The contractor shall, without additional cost to the person for whom the work has been done, remedy any defective or faulty work caused by incompetent workers, inferior or nonstandard material.
3. Such bond as is furnished shall be liable for the correction of any additional cost arising from the above mentioned cause.
4. The bond will be maintained in full force and effect throughout the term of the registration. (Ord. 103, 7-19-1983)
