A. The city may collect and dispose of garbage or other refuse or may contract with private persons to do so and may contract for collection of all or some portion of the city.
B. It is unlawful for any person or entity not authorized by contract with the city, or by permit from the city, to collect, transport or dispose of garbage or other refuse for hire within the city limits. (Ord. 1984-14, 7-19-1984; amd. Ord. 1991-6, 6-6-1991; Ord. 2004-8, 8-5-2004)
