A. These regulations shall be enforced by a building official appointed by or designated by the city. Such building official may, by appropriate arrangement, be a member of the state health department.
B. The building official or the city may cooperate with or otherwise obtain the assistance of the state health department for the purpose of enforcing these regulations provided, however, that these regulations shall not be construed as limiting the responsibilities and duties of the state health department in any manner.
