A. This chapter shall not apply to duly appointed and acting police officers of the city serving as private security officers on their off duty hours when the service involves working for any branch or agency of the state, federal or municipal governments, or when specifically authorized in writing by the city administrator.
B. No police officer of the city may work more than a total of twenty (20) hours per week as a private security officer. (Prior Code, Sec. 5-37)
