9-222: CHIEF OF POLICE TO ACT ON APPLICATION WITHIN FIFTEEN DAYS, TEMPORARY LICENSE PENDING ACTION:

The chief of police shall act on an application for the issuance or renewal of a license under this chapter within fifteen (15) business days from the time of submission of the application. Pending action by the chief of police, a temporary license may be issued in a case where the delay in granting would cause undue hardship on the applicant. (Prior Code, Sec. 5-32)
