Within forty eight (48) hours of the removal of a vehicle pursuant to the provisions of section 8-310 of this chapter, the chief of police shall give notice to the registered owner of the vehicle, if known, and also to the owner or occupant of the private property from which the vehicle was removed that the vehicle, or vehicles, has been impounded and stored for violation of this chapter. The notice shall give the location of where the vehicle or vehicles is stored and the costs of removal which shall be a lien against the vehicle. (Ord. 94, 10-7-1982)
