Notice shall be provided to the County Planning Department when the use of a communications tower is discontinued. If the use of the communications tower has been discontinued for a continuous period of 180 days, then the tower owner/operator or the tower site owner shall remove the tower, including tower base, within 90 days. The tower owner/operator and the tower site owner shall be jointly and severally responsible for such removal.
