(A) General certifications. Certifications listed herein include the certification title only. The text of all certifications listed are available at the Planning Department offices. This list is provided as a reference only and may not include all certifications required as part of development or subdivision submittals.
(1) Certification of ownership, dedication, and jurisdiction;
(2) Certificate of survey and accuracy;
(3) In accordance with the Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in North Carolina. On the face of each map prepared for recordation there shall appear a certificate acknowledged before an officer authorized to take acknowledgments and executed by the person making the survey or map including deeds and any recorded data shown thereon. The certificate shall include a statement of error or closure calculated by latitudes and departures. Any lines on the map which were not actually surveyed shall be clearly indicated on the map and a statement included in the certificate revealing the source of information;
(4) Certificate of registration by Register of Deeds; and
(5) Certificate of notary.
(B) Subdivision certifications.
(1) Certification of minor subdivision approval;
(2) Certification of site plan approval by the Development Review Board;
(3) Certification of preliminary subdivision approval by the Development Review Board;
(4) Certificate of final subdivision approval by the Development Review Board;
(5) Certificate of improvements maintenance; and
(6) Public right-of-way plat dedication certification.
(C) Other certifications.
(1) Certification of exempt plat approval;
(2) Certification of site plan approval; and
(3) Stormwater certification.
