§ 30.13 BILLING PROCEDURES.
   (A)   Purpose. To ensure that all customers are treated alike, the following policy will establish uniform procedures concerning billing of patients.
   (B)   Policy.
      (1)   It will be the responsibility of the attendant to correctly complete the trip ticket on every call requiring transport or transfer.
      (2)   A fee of $75 will be charged for all in-county transports with the exception of situations that are covered by County Emergency Medical Services policies.
      (3)   All out-of-county transfers will be charged $75 plus $1 per mile from the county line to the receiving facility.
      (4)   In case a volunteer rescue squad is transporting a patient to a hospital experiences vehicle difficulty requiring mutual aid, the trip ticket will be left open as to charges.
      (5)   If mutual aid is requested from a paid provider, the normal charges will be applied.
      (6)   If the attendant has any questions concerning charges, the price section blank on the trip ticket should be left blank and referred to the shift supervisor.
      (7)   Ten dollars will be charged for oxygen used.
      (8)   Twenty dollars will be charged for any ALS, $30 will be charged for oxygen and ALS.
