Every person who wilfully violates or who procures, aids or abets in the wilful violation of this chapter or any regulation adopted pursuant thereto shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than six (6) months, or both.
