4-11-6-4: SHALLOW FLOODING (AO ZONES):
   A.   Shallow flooding areas are delineated as AO Zone floodplains an the Flood Insurance Rate Maps. The provisions of Section 4-11-6-2, of these regulations shall apply to any AO Zone floodplain. The depth of the 100-year flood is indicated as the depth number on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps. The 100-year flood depth shall be referenced to the highest adjacent grade or stream flow line in determining which fill or floodproofing heights to use in applying the provisions of subsection 4-11-6-2B10 and B11 of this Chapter. In the absence of depth or elevation information, a minimum two foot (2') flood depth shall be used.
   B.   Floodplain Boundary Interpretation: The Floodplain Administrator shall make interpretations where needed as to the exact location of an AO Zone floodplain boundary when there is a conflict between a mapped boundary and actual field conditions. (Ord. 95-1, 2-7-95)
