4-1-2: BUILDING CODE ADOPTED:
There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations to provide minimum standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare by regulation and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, use and occupancy, locations and maintenance of all buildings and structures in the city, that certain building code known as the international building code (hereinafter referred to as "building codes"), being particularly the current edition thereof that the state of Montana has adopted, and the whole thereof, which is current from time to time as the latest edition containing revisions, of which code and standards shall be on file in the office of the city building inspector, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this chapter shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the city, together with:
   A.   International building code, being particularly the current edition thereof that the state of Montana has adopted, as amended by: ARM 24.301.131(1) through (3).
