A. Except under stated conditions, the city will not dictate policy for trees on private property. The tree board will provide citizens with education on the proper tree planting and maintenance as needed. (Ord. 188, 4-13-2009)
B. The city may require pruning or removal of any private tree(s) that are judged by the tree board to be hazardous or obstructive. If after a fourteen (14) day period of time, or if a private landowner is unable to take the appropriate action, the city may take steps to remedy the situation and bill the landowner.
