8-4-4: SEPARATION OF GARBAGE AND RUBBISH:

It is unlawful for any person within the City having garbage and refuse to deposit rubbish in the same vessel, receptacle or container containing garbage or to deposit garbage in the same vessel, receptacle or container containing rubbish. (1991 Code § 8.08.060)
