Each member is expected to observe assigned work hours. If an employee will be delayed or must be absent from work for any reason, as much advance notice as possible should be given the superior officer. After an employee has been absent from work for a period of time due to sickness or any other reason, the superior officer should be notified as soon as possible of the date the employee can report back to duty.
