§ 150.22 EMERGENCY.
   The town now adopts the procedure and provisions of I.C. 36-7-9-1 et seq., the Unsafe Building Law, being I.C. 36-7-9 et seq., and determines it is applicable to all areas under the Planning and Zoning jurisdiction of the town. If a written determination by the City Engineer or Building Inspector is made that there is an emergency condition dangerous to life, health, or property which required demolition, then the owner or occupant shall be ordered to proceed and request a demolition permit. If the owner or occupant fails or refuses to request a demolition permit, then the town may proceed to have the building or structure demolished under I.C. 36-7-9-11 and all applicable provisions of the Unsafe Building Law, at the expenses of the owner or occupant.
