(A) (1) The Town Marshal shall attend each meeting of the town’s Citizen Police Advisory Board and shall have the authority to call any special meeting of the town’s Citizen Police Advisory Board with at least 24 hours’ notice to each Board member, and with at least 72 hours to each Board member and public notification, if required by law.
(2) The Town Marshal shall report to the Town Council and shall act as a liaison between the town’s Citizen Police Advisory Board and the Town Council.
(B) (1) The Town Marshal shall serve as Street Commissioner for the town pursuant to I.C. 36-5-7-5.
(2) The Town Marshal shall assume all rights, responsibilities, and obligations as the Street Commissioner. As Street Commissioner, the Town Marshal shall have all powers and authority as prescribed and permitted by state law.
