§ 35.03 RIGHT TO TRIAL; WAIVER.
Any person, having been served with such a ticket and thereby charged with an ordinance violation, is entitled to a trial before a court as provided by law; if, however, such a person waives the right to trial, enters an admission of the violation with the Ordinance Violations Bureau, and pays civil penalties in the amount(s) and for the violation(s) hereinafter listed, then the violation shall be resolved. A record of the resolved violation will be kept in the files of the town’s Police Department for a period of three years, and will be subject to disclosure, upon request from appropriate law enforcement authorities, for that period of time.
