There is hereby established in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, the town’s Police Department Reserve Officers’ Donation Fund. All funds received from any source for the town’s Police Department Reserve Officers’ Donation Fund shall be deposited into this Fund. The town is authorized to accept gifts or contributions to this Fund. Funds in the town’s Police Department Reserve Officers’ Donation Fund shall be used exclusively for training and equipping the town’s Police Department reserve officers. This shall be a non-reverting fund. Expenditures for this Fund shall be recommended by the Marshal or the Commander of the Reserves.
