Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $500 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues; provided, however, any person violating the provision regulating the hours of sale shall be fined not less than $100 and not more than $300 for the first offense within a three-year period, not less than $200 nor more than $500 for the second offense within a three-year period, and not less than $300 nor more than $500 for the third and subsequent offenses within a three-year period.
