(A) The village reserves the right to install meters in existing or future water connections. Where meters are installed, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the meter and the cost of installation.

(B) The village reserves the right to install additional meters, other than the primary meter, in existing or future water connections upon the village’s determination that an additional meter is required. The reasons for which an additional meter may be required include, but are not limited to, faulty existing meters and water loss. Where additional meters are installed, the village shall be responsible for the cost of the meter and the cost of installation.
