§ 32.17 VOTERS’ LOCAL ADVISORY COUNCIL.
   There is hereby established a Local Advisory Council to provide assistance to the county in choosing polling places. The County Commissioners may appoint as many persons to the Council as they choose, but there must be at least two representatives of the disabilities communities or elderly voters. County residents with a variety of backgrounds, partisan affiliations and perspectives shall be encouraged to participate. If county residents are not available to serve on the Council the County Commissioners may partner with the Governor’s Planning Council on Disabilities to carry out the functions of the Council.
