§ 99.18 UNLAWFUL ACTS; CIVIL INFRACTION; INJUNCTION.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to offer for rent a dwelling unit, or any portion thereof, within the city without first obtaining from the city a rental license as required by the Residential Rental Property Code.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to offer for rent a dwelling unit, or any portion thereof, within the city that is in violation of the Residential Rental Property Code or Property Maintenance Code.
   (C)   A violation of this Residential Rental Property Code is a municipal civil infraction and shall be subject to the provisions provided for in § 10.99 and Chapter 131 of the City Code. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the remedies available to the city in the event of a violation by a licensee of this Residential Rental Property Code. In addition to any other remedy available at law, the city may bring an action for an injunction or other process against a person to restrain, prevent, or abate any violation of this chapter.
