The Code Official with the approval of the City Manager or, in the case of an appeal from a notice of violation, the Rental Code Board of Appeals, shall have the authority to revoke a rental license for any violation of the Residential Rental Property Code. While revocation can occur for any violation, the severity of the alleged violation and all other relevant mitigating and aggravating circumstances, including, but not limited to whether or not the licensee has had other revocations or convictions under this Residential Rental Property Code, will likely inform the decision. Any revocation shall be effective immediately, and no rental license shall be issued for the dwelling unit until the dwelling unit is re-inspected by the Code Official and all violations of this Residential Rental Property Code or City Code have been remediated.
