Section 17.3 EFFECTIVE DATE OF CHARTER.
   If the canvass of the vote on the adoption of this Charter shows that it has been adopted, it shall take effect and become law as the Charter of the City of Hancock, State of Michigan, for all purposes on Wednesday, November 16, 1988 at 6:50 p.m., local time.
