§ 153.23 BLOCKS.
   The size and shape of blocks shall be appropriate for the type of lots and land use proposed. Blocks shall be designed so as to permit good lot orientation, safe street design and economical use of land.
   (A)   Maximum length of blocks, measured between intersecting street centerlines, shall not exceed 1,320 feet. If, however, 51% of subdivided lots are twice the minimum width in zoning district, then the Planning Commission may grant an exception.
   (B)   Minimum block length shall not be less than 500 feet.
   (C)   Width of blocks shall be equal to two tiers of lots and shall not be less than 240 feet.
   (D)   Blocks intended for purposes other than residential shall be especially designed for such purposes and shall have adequate provision for off-street parking and loading in accordance with the requirements of the zoning ordinance.
