The city shall allow for the parking of vehicles in the city in certain designated areas, by the purchasing of a parking permit. The parking permit shall be issued by the Chief of Police and shall be displayed on the driver's side of the vehicle in the lower corner of the windshield. The designated areas will be specified in a map which will be located at Hancock City Hall and a copy will be given to each person obtaining a permit.
