§ 72.07 PARKING METER ZONES.
   (A)   The following named and described areas, streets or portions of streets and such other areas, streets or portions of streets as may hereafter be included in this section from time to time, either by amendment hereto or at the discretionary power of the Chief of Police by and with the consent of the Council, shall constitute parking meter zones.
      (1)   Quincy Street from Dunstan Street to Elevation Street, both sides;
      (2)   Front Street from Dunstan Street to Reservation Street, both sides;
      (3)   Franklin Street from Tezcuco Street to Ravine Street, both sides;
      (4)   Reservation Street from Hancock Street to Franklin Street, both sides;
      (5)   Reservation Street south of Hancock Street, west side only;
      (6)   Tezcuco Street from Hancock Street to Franklin Street, west side only;
      (7)   Ravine Street from Hancock Street to Franklin Street, west side only;
      (8)   Mesnard Street from Hancock Street to Quincy Street, west side only;
      (9)   All frontages in said squares, streets or avenues defining said zones are to be included therein.
   (B)   The Chief of Police shall have discretionary power from time to time as he deems necessary to designate by adding to or taking from the above parking meter zones certain streets, areas or portions of streets if he deems it necessary to do so for the purpose of regulating and controlling traffic and parking thereon, and he shall make such recommendations to the Council, and upon approval by the Council the Chief of Police shall then cause said street, portion of street or area to be metered and same shall become a parking meter zone in the same manner as those parking meter zones just listed and named, and this section and all conditions and sections hereof shall be applicable to such parking meter zones, and the erection and/or presence of a parking meter or meters in such parking meter zones shall be notice to the public that such street, portion of street or area has become a part of the parking meter zoning system and subject to this section and all regulations thereof.
