§ 34.08 EMERGENCY PURCHASES.
   In case of actual emergencies, where there is an immediate need for supplies, materials, or equipment, essential to the life, health or convenience of residents, after hours, on weekends or holidays, purchases may be made in an amount not to exceed $10,000. The head of the using department shall submit to the Purchasing Agent a record of the emergency purchase together with a report of the circumstances of the emergency.
