Pursuant to the provisions of the state construction code, in accordance with Public Act 230 of 1972, § 8b(6), as amended, the Building Official of the City of Hamtramck is hereby designated as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibility of the City of Hamtramck under Public Act 230 of 1972, as amended, State of Michigan. The Building Official of the City of Hamtramck assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of said Act throughout the corporate limits of the community adopting this chapter.
