§ 122.014 DISPOSAL OF ASH OR ANY BURNT ITEMS.
It is the duty of the licensee to ensure that the ash, charcoal, any burnt items, objects or anything that may cause fire associated with this business cool for at least 48 hours prior to disposal. The disposal process may be immediate by pouring water over the hot charcoal and stirring it very carefully prior to disposal. When the ash has cooled completely, wrap it in aluminum foil and place it in a noncombustible outdoor trash bin. Plastic bins generally, or the city provided roll-out waste bins are NOT noncombustible trash bins.
   (A)   It shall be the licensee’s responsibility to ensure that the outdoor trash containers are locked at all times.
   (B)   The licensee is responsible for any trash fire caused in the trash containers owned and operated by the business. It shall be presumed that any fire within trash containers associated with the business is the sole responsibility of the licensee. The licensee will be directly responsible for any damage associated with said fire and may be immediately cited under this chapter for any occurrence. It is the licensee’s responsibility to monitor the trash containers associated with the business at all times.
