(A) The terms used in this subchapter shall have the same meaning as given to them in Public Act 57 of 2018, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.4201 through 125.4230, or as hereinafter provided in this section unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary.
(B) For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACT 57. Public Act 57 of 2018, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.4201 through 125.4230 as now in effect or hereafter amended.
AUTHORITY. The Downtown Development Authority of the city created by this subchapter.
BOARD or BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The Board of Directors of the Authority, the governing body of the Authority.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. The Mayor of the city.
CITY. The City of Hamtramck, Michigan.
COUNCIL or CITY COUNCIL. The City Council of the City of Hamtramck.
DEVELOPMENT PLAN. A plan developed by the Downtown Development Authority pursuant to Public Act 57 of 2018, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.4201 through 125.4230.
DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. Generally the Joseph Campau corridor from Carpenter Street south to Denton Street.
