Any person, firm or corporation accepting scrips, note or certificate in violation of § 132.110 of this subchapter shall be liable to the person from whom the scrip, note or certificate was accepted at less than face value, for the amount of the discount placed upon it by the person, firm or corporation, and shall also be liable to the fine and/or imprisonment hereinafter provided for violation of the provisions of this subchapter.
