For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. Any place in the city in which food or beverage is served or sold for human consumption on the premises or elsewhere. The establishments shall include, but not be limited to, restaurants, cafeterias, coffee shops, taverns, soda foundations, itinerant restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores.
VENDOR. Anyone who transports, distributes or operates equipment to transport or distribute food for human consumption in the city.
