The City Council may at any time suspend or revoke any license granted under the provisions of this subchapter and order the place of business of the licensee closed for any infraction of this subchapter or other violation of the law. All licenses granted hereunder shall be issued and accepted with the understanding that they are subject to suspension or revocation at the will of the City Council for cause.
