Any dealer, agent, or employee of a dealer who is convicted of any misdemeanor pursuant to this act, or under section 535 of the Michigan Penal Code, 1931, Public Act 328, M.C.L.A. § 750.535, or of the Precious Metal and Gem Dealer Act M.C.L.A. §§ 445.481 et seq., shall not be permitted to operate as a dealer within this state for a period of one year after conviction. A dealer, or an agent, or employee of a dealer who is convicted of a felony under M.C.L.A. §§ 445.481 et seq. (Precious Metal and Gem Dealer Act), or under Section 535 of the Michigan Penal Code, 1931 Public Act 328, M.C.L.A. § 750.535, shall not be permitted to operate as a dealer within this state for a period of five years after conviction.
