Persons, firms or corporations using, owning, leasing or occupying a promises in which an alarm system exists on the effective date of this chapter, shall comply with the requirements of §§ 94.003 through 94.005 within 30 days of the effective date of this chapter; and shall be jointly and severally liable for violations of this section. Failure to comply with this section would result in a $50 fine. Each day shall constitute a separate offense.
