§ 90.025 VERMIN.
   The purpose of this section is to protect the public health, safety and general welfare by controlling the spread of vermin-borne diseases and infections associated with the unsanitary conditions present wherever vermin are found by requiring that certain structures shall be vermin-proofed, freed of vermin, and maintained in a vermin-proof and vermin- free condition; by providing for the proper storage of food and feed; by eliminating certain conditions favoring the harborage of vermin, and by providing penalties for violation thereof. This section does not apply to domesticated pet vermin kept indoors as companion animals.
