§ 90.019 HARBORING A VICIOUS ANIMAL.
   (A)   Any animal that displays vicious or aggressive tendencies shall be muzzled and restrained when in public places.
   (B)   No person shall harbor or keep a fierce or vicious animal. Vicious is considered when an animal has bitten a human, unprovoked, and caused serious physical injury. Whenever any animal is brought to the pound for having bitten a person, unprovoked, and caused serious physical harm, the Chief of Police or their designee may, if deemed necessary and after holding the animal for a sufficient length of time to meet constitutional standards for due process and the requirements of the Health Department, cause the animal to be destroyed as a vicious animal.
