§ 90.014 LICENSE APPLICATIONS; DOGS.
   (A)   Anyone who owns a dog six months or older shall obtain a license from the City Clerk.
   (B)   The application for license shall be accompanied by current and valid proof of vaccination of the dog for rabies by a veterinarian licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person, household, or family unit to harbor, maintain or keep more than four warm-blooded animals of the same species when the animals are over six months of age unless the owner obtains a kennel license under § 90.021.
   (D)   For purposes of this chapter, any person who shall allow or permit any animal to remain on or about their premises for the space of 14 days or more shall, for purposes of this chapter only, be deemed the owner thereof.
   (E)   The Police Department or any other person designated by the City Manager may make inquiry as to the dogs owned, harbored, or kept, or kennels operated in the city, and whether the dogs and kennels are licensed.
   (F)   The owner of any dog over six months old which is found to be unlicensed shall be instructed to license the dog. If after 30 days the dog is not licensed, the owner may be ticketed for a violation of this chapter.
